History

The journal Business, Economics, Sustainability, Leadership and Innovation (BESLI) was founded in 2018 by three institutions from Ukraine and the USA: Private Higher Educational Establishment-Institute “Ukrainian-American Concordia University” (Ukraine), Institute for Demography and Life Quality Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (initially called Public Institution “Institute of Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine”) (Ukraine), and Concordia University, Inc. (USA). Thus, the Editorial Board of BESLI features representatives of Ukraine, the USA, and Germany.

During 2018-2021, the Editorial Board was headed by Joseph J. Jacobsen, Ph.D., professor of Concordia University (USA). Since 2021, the Editor-in-Chief of BESLI is Oleksandr O. Romanovskyi, holder of two Doctor of Sciences degrees (Economics and Education), professor and rector of the Ukrainian-American Concordia University (Ukraine).
