This paper explores the transformative potential of state-driven platform models for labor market digitalization. It investigates the correlation between efficient human capital allocation, facilitated by these platforms, and economic development. Case studies of Singapore’s SkillsFuture and Estonia’s e-Residency Program illustrate practical implementations. Results show that such models enhance skills development, reduce unemployment, and foster economic growth. Policymakers can leverage these findings to create more efficient, inclusive labor markets in the digital era, with implications for workforce development and economic competitiveness.
